Frequently Asked Questions
Have a question for us? If so, you’ve come to the right place! We get questions from our patients every day, so we figured it would be helpful to include answers to some of the most common ones right here on our website. If you still have a question after reading this page, be sure to call and ask us! We’re more than happy to take extra time to make sure you completely understand your dental care.
How often should I visit my dentist?
According to our own Dr. Alex Naini and the American Dental Association, patients of all ages should visit their dentist at least twice a year. This, along with brushing and flossing at home, is the best way to keep a smile healthy and avoid common dental problems year after year.
What is the best way to whiten my smile?
Despite everything you can just pick up at the store, the most reliable and safe way to whiten your smile is actually with a professional whitening treatment. At our practice, we offer both in-office and take-home pro treatments so you can get a brighter smile on your own schedule. With us, dramatic results are guaranteed, and we’ll also make sure that your teeth aren’t sensitive afterward.
Can I straighten my teeth without getting metal braces?
Yes you can! With Invisalign, we can give you the straighter smile you’ve always wanted comfortably and discreetly. It uses practically invisible clear plastic aligner trays to gently move the teeth, and thanks to their subtle appearance, the only thing people will notice are your beautiful results!
I have a gap between my front teeth. Can you fix it?
Yes we can! We actually have a multitude of treatments that can address this specific issue. Porcelain veneers can be used to eliminate noticeable gaps along with a number of other cosmetic flaws at the same time, or we could use Invisalign to straighten your entire smile. Nonetheless, we’ll have just what you need to get rid of the gap.
My smile looks “gummy.” Can you help?
A “gummy” smile is usually the result of too much gum tissue showing when a person smiles, causing their teeth to look small and stubby. We can fix this problem in one visit using our soft tissue laser. With it, Dr. Naini can painlessly remove excess tissue and shape it along your teeth to give you that perfectly proportioned look.
Can you replace my missing teeth?
Yes, and we actually have an entire variety of treatments that can give you your complete smile back. A dental bridge can be used to replace a single tooth or a row of missing teeth, while a set of dentures can restore an entire arch of teeth. For the best results, however, we may suggest that you get dental implants. They are simply the most comprehensive tooth replacement solution available today, and they offer the most benefits when it comes to security, longevity, and aesthetics compared to any other treatment.
Will you take my dental insurance?
We are happy to accept dental insurance plans from a long list of providers and help maximize your benefits. To learn how we can utilize your particular plan, please call us today.
